UIA Training Course on Broadening horizons – contemporary family law issues in the international field 27-28 March 2017

Attend the Law Society’s networking reception for participants and interested family law experts on 27 March


The UIA (Union International des Advocats) presents this Course which is part of the UIA 2017 Training Courses Programme . The objective of their Training Courses is to provide comprehensive tools in specific and/or specialist areas of the law or in specific projects, by offering advanced‐level “master classes” held by outstanding expert trainers.

The Training Course will take place on 27 and 28 March 2017 in London and is designed for junior lawyers who have up to five years of post‐qualified experience who are looking forspecialty courses to

  • Improve their skills, and
  • Develop their international practice

Every participant attending the entire one and a half day Training Course programme will receive a “Certificate of Attendance”at the end of the Course that may be used for obtaining “Credits” for “Continuing Legal Education” ‐ “Continuing Professional Development” purposes, depending on national rules. Duirng the two day programme of the the course, the participants will learn about

  • Pre‐Nuptial agreements
  • International Finances
  • International Children

by looking at different case studies that illustrate different aspects of the topics.

The Law Society of England and Wales will host a drinks and networking reception on the evening of 27 March.
