The Law Societies LGBT Division are delighted to launch the first ever professional, social network for LGBT Lawyers and their allies.
Since the LGBT Division was established in February 2016, we have been working to ensure that the needs of our LGBT members are understood and served. We have worked closely with the members of the LGBT committee to ensure that LGBT Lawyers and their allies have a forum to talk to one another, whilst also providing security, and anonymity if desired.
The network is only open to lawyers, and the corresponding app allows someone to access the network discreetly if needed. The network enables you to talk to LGBT lawyers up and down the country, or find other LGBT lawyers to connect with in your local area.
You can use the network to let The Law Society know what you care about and how we can best represent you by taking part in discussion forums, polls, or by attending specific events.
The network can be accessed in either desktop or app format, but is primarily made to be accessed by app. All you need to do is download Mightybell in your app store and search for ‘LGBT Lawyers Division’, or if you would rather access the network on a web browser then please go to https://lgbt-lawyers-division.mightybell.com/ and click ‘Request an Invite’.
