Juliette Enser, interim director of the CMA’s state aid programme will speak about the CMA’s preparations to take on its role as the UK’s post-Brexit state aid regulator.

Juliette Enser is the interim director, state aid at the Competition and Markets Authority, and is currently leading its preparations to take on its new state aid function. Until April this year, Juliette was the director of cartel enforcement at the CMA and before that the OFT, and played a leading role in developing the CMA’s civil cartel enforcement. Juliette oversaw numerous cartel investigations for both the CMA and the OFT, including its investigation into algorithmic collusion in the Online Poster Case which resulted in the first use of the CMA’s Director Disqualification powers. Prior to joining the CMA, Juliette worked in private practice in Brussels and London.
