2016 was a year of strong growth for firms polled in the Law Society Law Management Section (LMS) Financial Benchmarking Survey 2017, which showed a median rise in income of 5.8 per cent for the mid-sized firms that participated.

Within the next few weeks this year’s Law Management Section’s Financial Benchmarking Survey will be published. We thought, however, that you might like to have a sneak preview of what the full report will reveal. I am delighted to therefore introduce this year’s headline results, which give you a flavour of what to expect from our main survey. In depth results, comparisons to 2013 and expert analysis will be contained in the full report.
Firms now have until 31 October to submit their data for this year’s Financial Benchmarking Survey.
