I am a solicitor at Hughes Parry Solicitors, I volunteer for Citizens Advice, and teach at Bangor University. I specialise in family law and employment law.
I work part-time at three jobs in North Wales: a High Street practice in Holywell, a Citizens Advice Centre in Caernarfon, and teach at the Law School at Bangor University.
I have been involved in the voluntary sector for 14 years, originally in employment law, for which I managed a legal aid franchise. With the demise of legal aid, I am increasingly assisting clients with their family issues, and see at the sharp end how the most vulnerable in society are denied access to justice.
I have worked at Hughes Parry Solicitors for over three years, where family work takes up approximately 60% of my time.
I have taught on the family and employment law modules on the LLB course at Bangor University for two years, and aim to bring a practical, rather than purely academic, perspective to the subjects.
