Robyn studied Law in Scotland and spent time in Austria before returning to practice in England.
Robyn is a dedicated and experienced family law solicitor with a business and commercial background. She is highly regarded as a Resolution trained family mediator, encouraging couples, where possible, to reach practical solutions by working together to resolve family issues involving finances and children.
As a director of the International Mediation and Arbitration Network Ltd, she is a keen supporter of alternatives to litigation, and encourages the use of family arbitration where appropriate.
She is a member of the Law Society Family Panel and sits on the Family Section Advisory Group.
Robyn is a senate committee member of The Genesis Initiative, formed to improve the quality of the debate on SMEs in the UK and Europe and create economic reform, driven by SMEs and supported by parliamentarians. The senate meets once during each parliamentary session, and involves highly professional and qualified individuals representing entrepreneurs, SME academia, parliaments and assemblies, and SME organisations within the UK (some 113 representing nearly 1 million members). This combination of entrepreneurial zeal, concentrated research and commitment from experts working on behalf of SMEs is linked with All Party Support from over 500 politicians from the House of Lords and Commons. It is intended that their joint efforts contribute to the continued growth of the SME sector within the United Kingdom, and the approach disseminated to European partners who wish to emulate the model.
Robyn joined Spring Law in 2014 as a partner and head of family mediation.
